The Bournemouth International Centre (BIC) is one of the largest event venues in the south of England, known for hosting major conferences and political gatherings, including Margaret Thatcher’s final speech as Prime Minister. Most importantly, it is only about a 4‑minute walk from Bournemouth Pier.

The Illusion & Demo Night is an immersive event that brings the science of vision to life. It offers a range of interactive experiences from visual illusions to demonstrations of cutting-edge research techniques such as mobile eye tracking and virtual reality, all presented by researchers for researchers. Depending on budget, food and refreshments will be provided!
The venue is provisional and we are working on the details. Please email ecvp2026@bournemouth.ac.uk for any enquiries or if you consider submitting an illusion or demo.
